3 Day Bronze Casting Courses
Course start dates: 14th March & 29th August 2025
£600 per person / limited to 10 spaces
In this three day in-person workshop introduction to lost wax bronze casting process, you'll be using the ancient ceramic shell casting technique in a real working foundry. You'll learn an overview of the foundry process, from wax pattern creation to bronze pouring and finishing, while creating your own sculpture.
5 Day Bronze Casting Courses
Course start dates: 7th July & 22nd September 2025
£850 per person / limited to 15 spaces
Through this comprehensive five-day journey, guided by your expert instructors, you will gain hands-on experience in each stage of the intricate lost wax ceramic shell casting process. From wax pattern creation to bronze pouring and finishing, you’ll not only acquire technical skills but also develop a deep appreciation for the artistry and dedication that bring this captivating material to life.

Rich will take you through the key fundamental skills of moulding a portrait head. Using the right materials and tools to ensure you end up with a clean and professional finish, this course doesn't just equip you with the essentials for a portrait head, but also any 2 part mould.
Casting a Bronze Resin Portrait

Once your mould has been created, Rich will now take you on a casting journey where you will learn how to cast your very own sculpture using the trades trusty materials, giving you a beautiful solid sculpture that will last a lifetime.
Fettling & Finishing

In this online course, Rich will guide you through each stage of the clean-up in order for your resin sculpture to look immaculate. By using files, sandpaper and a dremel, you will start to unveil the true beauty of your cast work.
Patinating Bronze Resin Portrait
£90 / 9 lessons / 1 hour of video
Patination is the cherry on the cake, the finishing touches, the depth of colour your never knew you needed. By using acrylic paints and a little bit of heat Rich will show you what's possible when patinating resin. It really is a beautiful craft
